SaveAVid / Android & web

Privacy policy

Your library and browser

SaveAVid stores your downloads, titles, thumbnails, source links and transfer progress on your device. Tabs, bookmarks, history, site cookies, favourites and settings can also be stored locally. The built-in browser contacts the sites you choose and the media hosts they use. Those services receive connection details such as your IP address, the requested page or file, and applicable browser cookies or referrer information. Their own privacy policies apply.

Device permissions and sharing

Android may ask for access to a folder or file you select, permission to show transfer notifications or special access to change a system ringtone. Status saving uses the folder you grant access to. Sharing a file gives the Android app you select access to that item. You can review or revoke permissions in Android settings.

SaveAVid web services

This website serves product information, support, and an app directory. Protected sounds are delivered through the Android app. When the app or a browser requests a page, directory entry, picture, catalogue or sound file, the web host receives the IP address and HTTP request information. The host may keep access and error logs, including time, user agent and request path, for site operation, security and diagnosis. Site pages load their artwork and styles locally. The app fetches video media from its source, without sending your video library to this site.

Protected sounds

To request paid sounds, the app sends an access credential to SaveAVid over HTTPS. For a Play purchase our server sends the purchase token to Google Play to verify the product and expiration. A review credential is checked against a private verifier. When rewarded sound access is enabled, AppLovin confirms completion to our server. We store a hashed installation identifier, reward event ID and time to keep that reward available and prevent reuse. The service briefly counts requests using a derived IP identifier. Clearing app storage removes the installation credential. To request removal of a reward record, contact support.

Ads and consent

In ad-enabled versions, SaveAVid can show ads using AppLovin MAX. Depending on the configured placements, region and consent choices, a request may involve Google AdMob (Google Mobile Ads SDK), Liftoff Monetize (Vungle), Meta Audience Network, Pangle or BIGO Ads. These services may process device or advertising identifiers, IP address and inferred approximate location, app and device information, ad impressions, clicks and diagnostics. They use this information to deliver and measure ads, detect fraud and, where permitted, personalise advertising. Not every partner receives every request.

Google AdMob

When AdMob ad serving is enabled, Google Mobile Ads can collect and share IP addresses, device or advertising identifiers, interactions such as ad taps and video views, and diagnostic information such as app launch time and hang rate. Google uses these data for advertising, analytics and fraud prevention. IP addresses may be used to estimate approximate location.

Advertising choices

When enabled and required, a consent form provided through Google’s User Messaging Platform lets you review choices before advertising starts. Reopen the privacy options in the app when available to change those choices. Android also lets you manage the advertising identifier in your device settings. Partner processing and retention depend on the services used, your choices and applicable rules.

Google Play purchases

Where in-app purchases are available, Google Play handles payment. The app uses Play Billing purchase status, product identifiers and purchase tokens to verify or restore access. SaveAVid does not receive your payment card details. Google manages your Play payment records under its own policies.

Retention and deletion

You can remove downloads from the library, delete bookmarks and clear browsing history or cache in the app. Clearing the app’s storage in Android settings removes its private local data, including site sessions and preferences. Files saved in shared storage or a folder you chose may remain after that or after uninstalling. Remove those files using Android Files. For a purchase record or data held by another site, use that service’s own controls.

Support and privacy requests

If you contact support, the SaveAVid team receives your email address, the message and the attachments you choose to send. We use them to answer and resolve your request and retain them as needed to address it, including follow-up or legal obligations. To ask about access, correction or deletion of information handled by SaveAVid, email support with enough detail to identify the request. Private files that exist only on your device must be managed on that device.
